VHEY Home Movie
When the 3rd most performed playwright in the English language asks you to make a short film with him you’d be a tad churlish to turn him down.
John Godber was writing and directing the film for Visit Hull and East Yorkshire and selected us to work with him after seeing our work at the RTS awards.
The film took the form of a home movie made by schoolgirls and starred screen newcomer Martha Godber and experienced theatre and screen actor Adrian Hood as the Dad. Filming took place over 4 days in over 20 locations around the county.
We had to make to footage look like it had been shot and edited by amateurs, which was worryingly simple, and the film is now being used to promote tourism to service providers in the Yorkshire region.
