60 Years Of The Polo Mint

April 10, 2008

Classlane filming at Nestle's Polo factory

To York, where we shot all of the broadcast B-roll footage for the 60th birthday of the world famous Polo mint.

This footage has been prepared for distribution by our friends at Northern Television and is used by all of the major broadcasters, such as the BBC and Sky, when they report on this remarkable anniversary.

Production of the Polo mint started on 15th of April 1948 and the Polo lines at Nestle’s factory in York produce an unbelievable 5-7 million Polo’s per day, less than half of which were snaffled by our crew as they went round the line!

The footage is similar to the production lines we shot for Northern Foods a couple of years back, see related video above.

This sort of film is so powerful. It gets our message across in a way that a million leaflets and articles will never do.
