At Your Leisure
July 29, 2010
The leisure boat films we’ve been making for the RNLI are now online.
The films inform leisure boaters about the perils of Cold Water Shock and feature an opening drama and presenter Julia Bradbury discussing the dangers of falling overboard with industry experts.
There are two films, aimed at different audiences and both are versions of a Cold Water Shock film we made last year aimed at the fishing industry. The opening dramas, however, are all-new and were shot a few weeks ago in the seas off the Dorset coast.
You can view the ‘tender’ version of the film, above. A tender is a support boat used to ferry sailors from ship to shore. It’s worth noting that the man who ‘drowns’ in the film is actually our soundman, Sean. He seemed to enjoy his death scene but not half as much as the rest of the crew enjoyed ‘killing’ him.
