Classlane Become RTS Awards Finalist

Classlane Media have been nominated as a finalist for the prestigious Royal Television Society programme awards.
We are a finalist in the category of ‘Best Promotion’ for our programme, ‘Saks Indulgence’ on behalf of Saks, who are the leading hairdressing franchise company in the UK. Every year their creative director Andrew Barton creates the signature looks that will feature in each of the company’s 140 salons. Andrew is British hairdresser of the year and star of Channel 4’s “Ten Years Younger”.
For the 2008 collection Classlane utilised various lenses, filters and lighting styles to reflect the “Indulgence” theme. The edit reflected the angular but rounded haircuts in the graphics and separated some of the images to the colours featured in the collection. The music and SFX were arranged around interview segments to create a fractured, unsettled feel.
We will be attending the RTS Programme Awards for 2008 which will be hosted on Monday 16th June 2008. To view ‘Saks Indulgence’, see the related video above.
