Over to Barbados where we've been filming at the Crop Over festival.
Crop Over is a traditional harvest festival held over a five-week summer period to mark the culmination of another successful year of sugar cane harvest on the Caribbean island. The festival features a huge carnival-like show and we were there to capture the occasion, filming street parties, calypso bands and the various fetes as well as Barbadian island activities such as island tours, water sports and a jeep safari. Hard work, we’re sure!
Our crew will return with the footage later in the week, in the meantime please enjoy our promo film for the Montpelier Plantation which was shot on the nearby Caribbean island of Nevis.
