Domestic Violence Film Goes National

October 16, 2008

Classlane with Alan Johnson MP at the DV launch

The highly praised film we created for the Hull NHS is to be used at a national level.

The film (in which Hull men discuss the city’s attitude to domestic violence) has been picked up by several domestic violence and alcohol abuse agencies and is to feature at two upcoming events – the Capita DV Conference on 20th October in Central London and the 3rd National Alcohol Conference in November.

The film is also being used as a training tool by the Stella Project, the leading agency addressing drug and alcohol related domestic violence and abuse, which covers all 33 London boroughs.

We’re obviously very proud that such influential and important organisations have found worth in the film and look forward to receiving feedback from the events.

You can see the film above and read details of the launch event in a previous news story, here

“Powerful… a moving and emotional film”, Rt. Hon. Alan Johnson MP, Secretary of State for Health.
