Shooting starts this week on a tourist film for 'Visit Hull and East Yorkshire' with local legend John Godber.
John, who is reckoned to be the 3rd most performed playwright in history behind Shakespeare and Alan Ayckbourn, was on the panel which selected the production company for the film. He says that he decided he wanted Classlane to work with him after seeing our work at the recent Royal Television Society Awards.
Shooting takes place over 5 days in 22 locations around East Yorkshire and among the cast will be Adrian Hood, star of the BBC’s ‘Preston Front’ and a Hull Truck Theatre regular.
John has written the screenplay and will be directing and we’re shooting on HD and editing on Avid. It’s a real honour to be chosen for such a prestigious project we’re looking forward to working with such fantastic talent.
