Hull Of A Film

Invest in Hull film

The 'Invest in Hull' film we made is now ready to go.

The film, which was commissioned by Hull Forward, features interviews with the city’s key influencers as well as remarkable new footage specially shot for the project. Once we established the tone, feel and content we thought would appeal to the target audience, we made a list of everyone and everywhere we would like to see portrayed in the film. This list included views and aspects of the city that are usually overlooked or badly represented as well as the faces and voices of the city’s biggest advocates and key influencers.

Classlane filming with Sarah Beeny

Hull Forward’s Marketing Executive, Karen Narey said, “We commissioned Classlane to develop a new film to promote investment opportunities in Hull. The creative ideas and approach delivered by the team were hugely refreshing. They challenged us on our previous thoughts of what a DVD could do, inspiring us to create something unique and special for the area. The team also engaged people with whom we had no prior contact such as Sarah Beeny and Maureen Lipman – both great ambassadors for the area and people who ordinarily would have blown our budget to engage with! We are delighted with the end result.”

A full 10 minute cut of the film will be distributed on DVD to potential investors nationwide over the coming weeks, but in the meantime there is a shorter cut available to view on the Hull Forward website or in the viewer above. Many thanks also to Graham Henderson for the Maureen Lipman interview.
