Larkin Around
February 25, 2010
Shooting continues this week on our film for Larkin25.
We’re out and about all over East Yorkshire gathering as many shots as we can between rain and snow showers, and today its Hull city centre in the morning, then out to Spurn Point in the afternoon.
We’re making the film for the Larkin Society to promote their events commemorating the 25th anniversary of the death of celebrated poet Philip Larkin. The film is based on Larkin’s poem ‘Here’, and we’ve already recorded the reading of the poem by Sir Tom Courtenay.
The finished film will be featured on our website in the near future, but in the meantime have a look at our ‘Freedom Pride’ film we made last year for Hull City Council’s event team (above).
