Leaving For The Lakes

Work starts today in the Lake District on a project for the Leadership Award For Life.
The Award is a scheme which aims to brings together young people from different social, religious and cultural backgrounds, and trains and supports them as they plan and deliver a community-based project.
The scheme is supported by Hymers College and Hull Kingston Rovers and we’re making a documentary film following participants from Hymers and David Lister School in Hull as they travel to the Lake District for an activity weekend. Later we’ll film the kids as they start their own business.
The film will be ready sometime in the New Year, but in the meantime please have a look at the film we made for MEND which also aims to re-train kids.
