Plantation For The Nation

Classlane's film for Montpelier

Our latest luxury resort film is now online.

Following on from our work in the West Indies and the Indian Ocean, our promo film for the Montpelier Plantation on the island of Nevis is now being used by the resort and travel agents all around the world. Have a look at the film above or on the links below.

The resort most recently came to worldwide attention when Princess Diana stayed there in the 80’s but European aristocracy has been visiting for many centuries, Lord Nelson even married his first wife Fanny Nisbet below the very fig tree that now supports the suite in which our crew stayed.

The crew had a little scare on this shoot when the pilot of the light aircraft they were travelling in decided it was unsafe to land on the intended airstrip and they had to divert to another island entirely. Apparently it was the pilot’s line, “I ain’t able to land down there” that really started the nerves jangling. They eventually landed on St Kitts and made the last leg of the trip by speedboat.

We’ve also just had confirmation of our next excursion to the West Indies with a crew leaving for St Vincent and the Grenadines on 26th February.

Incidentally, a far better pun for the headline of this piece was “Nevis and Butthead” but it was unfathomably deemed inappropriate.
