Poole’s Paradise
June 17, 2010
We’ve been filming all week for the RNLI in Poole.
The shoot, which explains the effect of Cold Water Shock on immersion victims, involves 12 crew, a yacht, a support boat, an RNLI RHIB, stuntmen, actors, minicams, wetsuits, safety briefings, the Coast Guard, sunburn and seasickness. We’re creating a drama scenario in which a yachtsman goes overboard and drowns, demanding a very carefully controlled filming environment and everyone working at the top of their game.
Once finished, the film will be used to train the leisure sailing market and be seen in the UK and across Europe. In the meantime you can view the film we made for the RNLI a few years ago, above.
