Shooting The Shoot

June 19, 2012

Classlane filming at the West London Shooting Grounds

Our film crew are shooting the shooting at the famous West London Shooting Grounds this week.

By Royal Appointment, East Yorkshire company Hull Cartridge asked us to shoot a series of films at the country’s oldest independent shooting school.

In the capable hands of Edward Watson, a game-shooting instructor who taught both Prince’s Harry and William as well as stars such as Vinny Jones and the queen of pop, Madonna, we’ve been utilising a range of cameras including our jazzy GoPro headcam and a camera mounted atop the barrel of a gun!

The filming moves on later in the week to Ashcombe House in Wiltshire, the estate of a certain Mr Guy Ritchie who himself is a seasoned game and clay shooter. We then move up to Cumbria before we call the shots back in the edit suite.

The films will be online in the coming months, but in the meantime, please take a look at another London related film we made for the RNLI, above.

Having worked with Classlane previously, I had no hesitation in picking up the phone when we wanted a video.
