Classlane's film for Barbados Island Safari

The first of the films we’re making for the Barbados Tourism Authority is now online.

We’ve shot and are now editing 8 films on various aspects of the island, which will be used to promote tourism. The first to be finished is the film (above) on safaris. We’ll post more of the films as they’re finished.

Interesting facts on this film:

1. The tour took the crew through the bearded fig trees which provided Barbados with their name (‘bearded ones’ = Barbados, apparently)

2. During the shoot the crew saw a giant turtle laying eggs on a beach.

3. It turns out that cameraman Ade has an irrational fear of monkeys, a fact he only chose to reveal as the safari entered a forest swarming with them. Apparently it stems from overexposure to Topov, the monkey in 70’s kids TV show ‘Pipkins’. To be fair he was pretty creepy.

As always, one of these facts is not strictly true. But which one?
