Uni Ought To Be In Movies

April 22, 2010

Classlane's film for University of Hull

The short film we’ve been making for the University of Hull is now showing at the cinema.

We were commissioned by the University to make the 90 second film to act as an intro to their sponsorship of Glimmer – the Hull International Short Film Festival. The film is shown at the start and end of every night of the festival, which is currently running at various cinemas and venues around the city. It’s the second film we have showing at the festival after our Larkin25 film ‘Here’ was premiered earlier in the week (read more here).

The University’s brief was to create an intriguing, artistic film which would compliment the nature of the festival as well as portraying the University to the audience in a way that would challenge their image of it.

After the festival the film will be used by the University in presentations, at open days and be made available as a mobile phone download.

You can view the film, above.
