To Lapland again for the 'When You Wish Upon A Star' charity.
This the sixth or seventh year we’ve made the trip (none of us can remember exactly how many times we’ve been!) which involves filming for the childrens charity, who take poorly children to Lapland each December to meet the real Santa.
This year we were joined again by Denise Welch and Carol McGiffin from ITV’s Loose Women and various Coronation Street and Waterloo Road stars for a day of sleigh rides, husky rides, reindeer rides and skidoo-ing as well as a visit from Santa himself and a trip to his village at the Arctic Circle.
We shot some footage for Loose Women while we were there so that’ll be on in the coming days and we’ll have the finished commemorative DVD of the event ready for everyone to enjoy on Christmas Day.
