Wotta Lotta Yachts
September 04, 2009
Filming started yesterday on the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
Along with our friends at Top Banana, we’re creating all the broadcast B roll footage which TV stations across the globe will be using in advance of the arrival of the race in various ports. Shooting and editing continues for the next 3 days and all the footage is then uploaded in HD for the broadcasters to access. We shot interviews with crew of all the yachts as well as maritime legend Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, the first man to sail around the world single handed without stopping.

The Clipper is the only round the world race which is crewed entirely by amateur sailors, and the race starts this weekend in Hull and visits ports such as Singapore, Perth and San Francisco before returning to Hull in 10 months time.
We’ll be there to cover the race’s finish and we’ll be posting footage from the race on this site as it continues but in the meantime have a look at the promo we made when the Tour Of Britain passed through East Yorkshire last year.
