Helen works as a media trainer, organising and directing media skills courses for public and private organisations. She is also a visiting lecturer in radio and television production, a BBC News presenter and has her own Saturday morning radio show.

Alan has been in the media industry since 1989, and is an experienced video producer, director and script writer. A significant part of his media career has involved working in major public sector projects, the most recent being a ground-breaking IPTV project, which, in November 2008, was awarded flagship status by Cabinet Office. In recent years he has become heavily involved in content production which is underpinned by Social Marketing theory and practice.

Fiona can explain how the media works and is able to give an insight into the mind of a journalist and how reporters approach different types of story.

She is a journalist who has presented, reported and produced for ITV Yorkshire’s live regional news/magazine programme, Calendar News, for nearly 16 years. She also reported live and recorded as-live inserts for ITN news and ITV’s former 24-hour news channel as well as presenting live daily radio news bulletins.

Pete Conner works as a media producer and composer, producing creative and inspiring camerawork and editing to all platforms and formats. Audio recording and music composition providing jingles, stings and soundtracks used in a wide variety of programmes on all the major TV and radio stations around the world.
