Classlane Media - Royal Television Society Award Finalists 2008 - Best Promotion

Meet the Team

Meet some of the motley crew of staff that work at Classlane Media!

Dave Beasley - MD

Dave Beasley

Experienced broadcast producer who has worked for Sky, Channel 4 and the BBC. Still keeps hands dirty as Classlane’s most experienced cameraman when no-one’s looking.

Dave Lee - Director/Writer

Dave Lee

Experienced broadcast director and scriptwriter who has worked for Sky and Channel 4. Keen swearer.

Rich Manville - Head of Multimedia

Rich Manville

Hugely inventive and experienced programmer, fluent in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Director, Flash and so on. Cries if you tickle him.

Andi Olssen - Head of Post Production

Andi Olssen

Edited programmes for Sky and Channel 4. Classlane’s senior editor. Has more degrees and qualifications than the rest of the team put together but still can’t make a decent cup of tea.

David Stubbins - Camera/Editor

David Stubbins

Bit of an all-rounder is Stubbo. Cameraman, editor, footballer, bachelor boy, bon-viveur, hunchback, terrorist, steeplejack or desperado. Who can tell? Who cares?

Simon Baxter - Cameraman

Simon Baxter

Simon has over 15 years experience behind the camera. Next week we’re going to show him how to take the lens cap off.

Adrian Medforth - Cameraman

Adrian Medforth

“Is that framing alright, Dave?” “Shall I start rolling?”, “Why is the sky blue?”, “What’s the difference between a man and a woman?”. Just some of the questions the ever enquiring brain of Ade might throw out at any time. The body of a man, the mind of a child and the haircut of an 80’s mobile disco DJ.

John Rowley - Sound

John Rowley

30 years experience in location and studio recording. Gold album awarded producer for “The Beautiful South”. Born in the late 1840’s.

Alan Mumby - Associate Producer

Alan Mumby

Alan has a wealth of experience producing digital public sector interactive blah, blah, blah. He is also a very talented writer, director blah, blah, blah. All very interesting but what you really need to know is about the coconuts. After spending years living in the West Indies, Alan became obsessed with coconuts and now his life revolves around them. He has shoes made of coconut, his car has a coconut dash, his entire attic is dedicated to his coconut museum and he even changed his name by deed poll to Alan Coconut Mumby. We used to think it was quaint but it’s actually extremely disturbing when you stop and think about it.

Simon Wilkinson - Graphics

Simon Wilkinson

Has produced graphics for all the major broadcasters, whether they asked for them or not.

Patty Reynolds - Secretary

Patty Reynolds

Least said, soonest mended.
